2024 Native Plant List (tentative)

Please be patient as we continue to update this list throughout the season! Our plants will be available at the Plymouth Farmers Market (Saturdays, 8-1230 May - October) and at Dexter Mill. Additional plant sale days at Carosello Pasta or on the farm will be announced on our home page & social media.

*Please note we are NOT a retail nursery, and our farm is closed to the public. Schedule a visit to pick your plants up at the farm.

Our plants are priced at $4 each, with bulk discounts available for orders > 28 plants. The majority are potted in either 100% biodegradable 2” Cow Pots or Zipset Plant bands, which are 2x6” deep paperboard pots that are 96% biodegradable - the same material as a paper milk carton. We are constantly taking steps to limit plastic and other waste on our farm; your order may contain a number of mismatched upcycled plastic pots as we head in the direction of paper pots and/or soil blocks over the coming seasons.

We give the same priority to ecological growing in our plant nursery as our vegetable farm. All plants are potted in quality organic soils and fertilized with natural amendments like kelp extract, compost tea, or fish emulsion. We never use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides of any kind. Michigan is a state rich in agricultural diversity as well as horticultural supplies; we make every attempt to source our supplies from Michigan companies wherever possible.
